Get the Google review the moment the card lands in the wallet
When a customer adds your loyalty card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and comes back to the join page, BTAQA skips the success screen and opens your Google review page instead. You ask for the review while they are still at your counter, not two days later in a message they ignore.
- Included on every plan
- Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
- Off by default, per card
- Google review links only
Included on all three plans (Connect, Engage, and Retain) with no limit of its own; you set it per card, so your plan's active-card limit applies: 1 card on Connect, 3 on Engage, and 10 on Retain.
What does your customer see after adding the card?
The customer scans your card's code, enters their name and phone number on the join page, accepts the terms, and taps the add-to-wallet button. Your card appears on their phone and they tap Add.
Normally they come back to a success screen confirming the card is in their wallet. With the redirect on, the join page skips that screen and sends them straight to your review link. No extra button to tap, no link to hunt for.
- Works with both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
- Fires when the customer returns to the join page after adding the card.
- Optional: cards without it keep the usual success screen.
Why ask at the moment of install?
Review requests usually fail because they arrive late. The customer means to write something later, leaves, gets busy, and forgets. A sticker on the table waits to be noticed; a message two days later lands after the experience has faded.
The wallet add is different. The customer is still at your place or right outside, and has just chosen to keep your card on their phone. The page is already open in front of them, and all it takes is a star rating and a few words.
Put simply, you stop chasing the review. You place the request in the customer's path while their phone is still in their hand.
How does BTAQA make sure customers reach the right Google page?
The review link field accepts any valid link, from Google, Trustpilot, or elsewhere. The redirect switch is stricter: it only appears when the link is a real Google review link, not your website or a profile on another platform.
If you clear the link or change it to one BTAQA does not recognize after turning the redirect on, the switch turns itself off. The server also refuses to save a card with the redirect on and no valid Google link, so a customer promised a Google review never lands somewhere else.
- Accepted Google links start with domains such as g.page, share.google, maps.app.goo.gl, and search.google.com.
- Get the link from your Google Business Profile: Ask for reviews, then Get more reviews, then copy the link.
Where does the redirect help most: cafe, car wash, or salon?
At a coffee shop, customers usually join while they wait for their order at the counter. Two minutes of waiting is enough to add the card and write a line about their coffee, so they leave a review before the cup cools.
At a car wash, the customer waits for the car with nothing else to do, so the review page arrives in real idle time. At a barbershop or beauty salon, customers often join right after the service while they look at the result in the mirror, the moment they are happiest with it.
The rule is the same everywhere: put your card's code where customers wait, not where they leave.
What limits should you know before you turn it on?
The redirect happens once, inside the join flow itself. A customer who joined before is not redirected again on later visits; the feature is built for new members, not regulars.
BTAQA can't see inside the customer's wallet, so the redirect is tied to the customer coming back to the join page after the wallet step. That is the same signal the usual success screen relies on.
- If a customer opens your card link inside Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, the join page first asks them to open it in their phone's browser, because wallet adds don't work inside those apps.
- A customer who closes the Google page without writing anything still finds your review link on the back of the card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, ready for later.
- It works on the Connect plan too, so you can collect reviews from your first member without upgrading. Compare plans on the pricing page.
How does the redirect fit with BTAQA's other review tools?
The install redirect catches new customers on their first visit. Regulars get the automated review request after a visit, with a delay you pick from 1 hour to 24 hours, naming the product staff picked at the scan.
Both tools read the same Review Link field on the card, so you add it once and it works in both places. When you link products to every scan with products per scan, the review request becomes a question about a specific experience. That is the core of review collecting from loyal customers, available on the Engage and Retain plans.
Put simply, the redirect opens the door for new members on day one, and the review request knocks again for regulars after each visit where staff pick a product.
