A loyalty points card that earns from the bill amount

Every bill turns into points in your customer’s phone Wallet, so a bigger spender earns more. Staff type the amount in the scanner app and the points are calculated for them, with no POS integration and no app for the customer.

60 points to the first reward

Why the BTAQA points card

Cash backDiscountProduct gift

Several rewards on one card

Add up to 5 levels, from a small reward the customer reaches quickly to a big gift for your biggest spenders.

You choose the kind of reward

Give your customers cash back, a discount on the next purchase, or a product as a gift. Mix them across the levels as you like.

An image for every reward

Put a photo of your product on every level, like the example above. Your products are promoted on the customer’s card, and the customer sees the next reward each time they open their wallet, so they really want to reach it.

Reward levels

An example for a sweets and dried fruit shop giving 5 points per riyal. You can add up to 5 reward levels, each with its own points, reward, and cover image. The card always shows the available reward and how far the next one is.

Where a points card fits

The rule: if the bill changes a lot from visit to visit, points are fairer than stamps. Here is how to set them up.

Restaurants

The bill grows with the group. 1 point per riyal and 3 levels: a drink, then a dessert, then a main dish.

Kids’ play halls

Spend depends on the hours and the number of children. Levels: a free hour of play, then a free visit for one child, then a small party.

Beauty salons

A nail fill and a bridal package are very different bills. Levels: a small free service, then a care session, then a full treatment.

Bakeries, sweets and kunafa shops

Frequent visits and boxes of every size, with peaks around Ramadan and Eid. Levels: a free piece, then a small box, then a large box.

Perfume and oud shops

A high bill and buyers who come back. Rewards start with samples, then a small perfume, then a full bottle.

Jewelry shops

A high bill and rare visits, so put the first level within reach of one purchase: a small discount or cash back on the next purchase. The top level: a small piece of jewelry. Leave the card with no expiry date, or a long one.

Why don’t customers come back?

A stamp treats a small bill and a big bill the same

One customer orders a juice, a family orders a full dinner, and both get one stamp. When the bill changes a lot from visit to visit, the big spender feels the programme does not see them.

Most points programmes need a technical integration

Most points systems run through a POS integration or an app the customer has to download. That is time, setup and expense before the first customer earns a first point.

Customers lose track of where they stand

A balance hidden in a system the customer never sees gives them no reason to come back. The balance and the next reward should be in front of them every time they open their Wallet.

The BTAQA points card lives in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. You set how many points a customer earns for what they spend, and add up to 5 reward levels. The balance, the available reward, and the points to the next reward show on the card itself and update after every bill.

How It Works

1

Set the rate and the rewards

Choose how many points a customer earns per unit of your currency, then add 1 to 5 rewards, each with its points, a name, and a cover image.

2

Staff type the bill amount

Staff scan the customer’s card in the scanner app and type the amount or pick the products. Points are calculated automatically in whole numbers and reach the customer’s Wallet in seconds.

3

The customer redeems a reward

When the balance reaches a reward level, the customer picks the reward and only its points are deducted. The rest of the balance stays and keeps counting toward the next reward.

What we recommend for points cards

5 points per riyal, with rewards at 150, 300 and 600 points

You can add up to 5 levels, but three suit most businesses: the first is close enough to reach in two or three visits, so the customer sees the programme is real; the second rewards the regular; the third is a bigger goal for the biggest spenders. Make the first reward something that costs you little and means a lot to the customer, like a drink or a dessert.

Why you need a digital loyalty card

A fair reward for every bill

The customer who spends more earns more. That encourages a bigger order on each visit, not only more visits.

No POS and no app

You start from the scanner app on a staff phone. No technical integration, no extra hardware, and nothing for the customer to download.

The balance is always on the customer’s screen

The balance and the next reward show on the Wallet card and update after every bill, so the customer remembers you every time they open their Wallet.

Numbers that show how customers spend

Your dashboard shows the points earned and rewards redeemed per card, so you see how your programme performs from real numbers.

Stamp card or points card?

One question decides it: is your customer’s bill about the same every visit, or does it change a lot?

Stamp card

One stamp per visit and a reward when the card fills. Customers understand it at a glance, and it suits fixed-price services.

Best forCar washes, cafes, barbers and laundries.

Points card

Points from the bill amount and up to 5 reward levels. A bigger spender earns more, and the balance never resets after a reward.

Best forRestaurants, kids’ play halls, beauty salons, sweets, perfume and jewelry shops.

BTAQA offers both inside Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no app. Pick a stamp card if your bill is steady and a points card if it varies.

Frequently Asked Questions

If the bill is about the same every visit, like a car wash, a coffee, or a haircut, a stamp card is clearer: "collect 5, get 1 free". If the bill changes a lot from visit to visit, like restaurants, play halls, and beauty salons, a points card is fairer, because a bigger spender earns more. BTAQA offers both.

No. Staff type the bill amount in the scanner app on iOS or Android, or pick the products, and the points are calculated automatically. There is no integration with your POS at all.

You set the rate, for example 1 point per riyal. Points are whole numbers and always round down, so a 47.5 riyal bill at 1 point per riyal gives 47 points.

Only the reward’s points are deducted and the rest stays. The balance never resets, so the customer carries straight on toward the next reward.

No. A customer collects points with no limit, and the balance grows with every bill. A reward deducts only its own points and the rest stays. If you set an end date on the card it stops then; if you choose no expiry, the points stay for good.

From 1 to 5 levels. Each level has its points, a reward name, and a cover image that shows on the card as the customer gets close to it.

A card does not switch from one type to the other. Create a new points card from your dashboard, and you can run it next to your stamp card, depending on how many cards your plan includes.
