Digital Loyalty Cards for Perfume Shops

A perfume shop customer may buy a small musk today and come back a month later for oud oil and a gift set. So BTAQA runs on points. Every riyal your customer pays turns into points in the Apple or Google Wallet on their phone, and a bigger spender earns more. No app for the customer, and no POS integration.

Why don’t customers come back?

A stamp treats a small sample and an oud set the same

One customer buys a small spray, another buys premium oud oil and bakhoor for a family occasion, and both get one stamp. The big bill is the one that builds your shop, and a stamp card cannot see it.

Customers love your scent, then buy it elsewhere

Perfume shops sit close together in every mall and souq, and customers walk past all of them. With nothing tying them to your shop, they buy from the nearest one next time. A points balance that grows with every bill gives them a reason to come back to you.

A paper card cannot count the bill

Paper cards get lost in wallets and left at home, and they cannot count points from a purchase amount at all. You pay for printing and never learn who your regulars are.

You set the points rate, for example 1 point per riyal, and from 1 to 5 reward levels. The customer scans a QR code and the card drops into their Wallet. With every purchase, staff type the amount in the scanner app and the points are added for them. The balance and the next reward show on the card every time the customer opens their Wallet.

How It Works

1

Set your points and rewards

Pick your shop’s colours and upload your logo, then set how many points a customer earns per riyal and your reward levels: bakhoor first, then a small perfume, then oud oil. Each level has a cover image that shows on the card.

2

Place the QR code at the till

You get a print-ready QR poster with your shop’s branding. Place it at the till or next to the perfume shelf. Customers scan it with their phone and the card drops into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in seconds.

3

Type the amount, and the points add up

At payment, staff scan the customer’s card in the scanner app and type the purchase amount. The points are added and the customer sees the new balance in their Wallet straight away. A reward deducts only its own points and the rest stays.

What we recommend for perfume shops

Points from the purchase amount, with 3 reward levels

Make the first level close, like a box of bakhoor or a sample of a new scent, so a customer reaches it in two visits. Make the second a full perfume and the third oud oil from your signature range. A big spender reaches the big reward faster, while a regular customer still earns on every visit. And because the balance never resets after a reward, the customer carries straight on toward the next one.

Why you need a digital loyalty card

A bigger spender earns more

Points follow the purchase amount, so a customer buying oud oil and a gift set earns more than one buying a small spray. You reward your most valuable customers instead of giving everyone the same single stamp.

No POS integration

Most points programmes need a technical integration or an app the customer downloads. Here staff type the amount in the scanner app on iOS or Android, and the points are calculated for them from day one.

Notifications for new arrivals and every season

A new scent just arrived, or Eid is coming? Send a notification to your cardholders from the dashboard, and it lands directly on their lock screen, with no app.

More Google reviews

Your Google review link shows on the card itself, and the customer can be sent to the review page right after adding the card, on every plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Points, for most perfume shops. Stamps suit a bill that is about the same every visit, like a coffee or a haircut. A perfume bill swings between a small sample and premium oud oil, and points reward each customer by what they spend. BTAQA offers both, and you can run a points card next to a stamp card, depending on how many cards your plan includes.

The loyalty points card

No. Staff type the purchase amount in the scanner app on iOS or Android, and the points are calculated automatically. There is no integration with your POS at all.

You set the rate, for example 1 point per riyal. Points are whole numbers and always round down, so a 249.5 riyal purchase at 1 point per riyal gives 249 points.

Only the reward’s points are deducted and the rest stays. The balance never resets, so the customer carries straight on toward the next reward.

No. The card is added directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which is already on your customer’s phone. They scan the QR code and the card appears in their wallet within seconds, with no account and no download.

Yes. You manage your branches from one account, the customer earns points at any branch, and you follow everything from a single dashboard.

Yes. 14 days free, no credit card required. You can design your card, share it with customers, and start collecting real data before paying anything.
