BTAQA vs Bonat

Two Saudi-focused platforms with two different models. Bonat is a points system running through an app the customer downloads, integrating with POS systems like Foodics; Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes do not appear on their site. BTAQA takes the other road: a stamp card born inside the phone wallet with no app at all, a product recorded with every stamp, and GCC vehicle cards.

The details about Bonat on this page come from their own website, bonat.io, in August 2026. Anything we could not find there is marked “not advertised on their site”, nothing more.

When is Bonat the better fit?

Bonat may fit you better if your restaurant or chain runs entirely on the POS and you want a points system wired into Foodics, Salla or Shopify as their site advertises, with SMS and email campaigns.

Numbers from the BTAQA platform (August 2026): 13,608 customer cards and 27,713 recorded stamps. The best-performing programme on the platform is a cafe with a 6-stamp card: 87% of its cards get scanned and 81% of its customers return. Source: BTAQA platform data, not an industry study.

Common questions

Stamps or points: which fits my business?
Stamps fit simple repeat visits: a coffee, a car wash, a haircut: “buy 6, get the 7th”. Points fit varied baskets like full restaurants. If your offer is “buy X get Y”, a stamp card is clearer for your customer.
Does my customer need an app?
On BTAQA, no: the card is stored in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet directly. On Bonat, the model advertised on their site is an app the customer downloads from the stores.
Do I need a POS to use BTAQA?
No. Staff record the stamp from the scanner app on iOS or Android, choosing the product with the stamp if you want best-seller reporting. No extra hardware is needed.
